About Alfa Motorsport Fibreglass

In 1985 Allan Kerr, a mechanic by trade, decided it was time for a change.  A friend told him there was a business in Dandenong for sales, Alfa Fibreglass.  Allan took on the challenge.

More than 20 years later the Business is stronger than ever, with his daughter Michelle who came on board in 1996 and her husband Fraser joining the team in 2002. We had evolved into a strong family business.

Some changes were made in 1999, an addition to the name, now known as Alfa Motorsport Fibreglass, and a location change to the country Kernot in the Bass Coast.

Driven By Passion

Our team all have a passion for cars with Allan's first car project being a HJ Holden Monaro, which regularly appeared in the television show "Acropolis Now".  After many years of racing and showing his multi trophy-winning Monaro, it was replaced by a Datsun 1200 Sports Sedan, which is now 90% fibreglass, carbon fibre and Kevlar.  This also is a multi trophy-winning car, not only for performance on the track, but also it's always immaculate presentation.

Race car number 3;  In 2007 Alfa Motorsport Fibreglass purchased a VN Holden Commodore which Allan and Fraser both run at hillclimb and sprint meetings. Fibreglass work on this car is now finally complete.

Allan's wife Joan is regularly seen running around the pits with a pen and paper, writing down lap times, and Michelle is usually hunting the pits for future business possibilities.

When not racing we enjoy going to the track to show our support for fellow racers, and usually picking up work along the way!

High Quality Results

Alfa Motorsport Fibreglass prides itself on excellent quality work to the highest of standards.  We are always extremely proud to see the end result of our work out on the racetrack.
